Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of AurenLM (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

Credits, billing, and refunds

  • Credits: AurenLM uses episode credits for generation. Listening and downloads are free.
  • Free Starter Pack: New accounts start with a Free Starter Pack (currently 4 credits).
  • Activation Boost (bonus credits): Some new users may be eligible to unlock an Activation Boost within the first 72 hours after signing up. After you generate and listen for at least 60 seconds, you can unlock +6 bonus credits. Activation Boost credits are expiring and are removed when the Activation Boost window ends.
  • Subscriptions: Pro is currently $20 / month and includes 20 credits / month. Pro credits reset each billing period and do not roll over. Annual billing is available and includes 3 months free (billed annually).
  • Top-ups: You can buy additional credits (top-ups). Purchased credits are valid for 12 months from purchase. Current top-ups are 10 credits for $10 or 20 credits for $20.
  • Episode duration: One episode credit covers up to 8 minutes of generated audio. Longer generations may require multiple credits and/or be split into multiple episodes.
  • Non-refundable: Charges are non-refundable except where required by law.
  • Cancel anytime: You can cancel at any time to stop future renewals. Cancellation does not reverse charges already made.

Using the Service

AurenLM lets you generate audio courses from topics and source materials. You are responsible for the prompts and content you submit, and for ensuring you have the rights to use any materials you provide.

Generated content

The Service may generate outlines, transcripts, audio, and other outputs based on your inputs. Outputs can contain errors or omissions. You are responsible for reviewing and validating content before relying on it.

User content and responsibility

The Service may allow you to submit, upload, publish, share, or otherwise make available content (including prompts, source materials, transcripts, audio, titles, descriptions, links, and other materials) ("User Content").

  • You are responsible: You are solely responsible for your User Content and for any consequences of publishing or sharing it, including ensuring you have all necessary rights and permissions.
  • No endorsement: AurenLM does not endorse, support, represent, or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any User Content.
  • Not a publisher: To the maximum extent permitted by law, AurenLM is not responsible or liable for User Content and does not control what users create or share.
  • Enforcement: We may (but are not obligated to) monitor, review, remove, disable access to, or restrict User Content at any time, for any reason, including if we believe it violates these Terms, our policies, or applicable law.

Prohibited use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including by:

  • Violating applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringing intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Attempting to reverse engineer, scrape, or disrupt the Service
  • Generating or distributing harmful, unlawful, or deceptive content

Indemnification

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless AurenLM and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to your User Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.

Third-party services

We use third-party providers to deliver parts of the Service (for example, for payments, hosting, or AI voice generation). Your use of those providers may be subject to their terms.

Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AurenLM will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits or revenues.

Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll take reasonable steps to provide notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
